to receive an acknowledgement of complaint

The acknowledgement of complaint is a written document confirming that an official complaint was filed with the police or the judicial authorities.

It must include the case number and a brief summary of the complaint.

If you are or you were the victim of a crime and you have made a complaint or filed a report, you have the right to request a written acknowledgement.

The Public Prosecutor receives this request and issues the respective acknowledgement.
